Doing Life Together

One of the greatest tragedies in today's world is the trending away from relational connectedness and intimate relationships with one another. Increasingly, our culture has evolved into a state of isolationism, me-ism, and a seeming disconnect from our need for one another.

The Bible tells us very clearly that we are each a PART of the Body of Christ, and it is only when we are connected TOGETHER, and living TOGETHER, and doing life TOGETHER that the Body is healthy, strong, and vibrant. The Church can only be as strong as the relationship of its parts. It is this truth that compels us to do as they did in the Book of Acts church;

"Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart. Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day ..." - Acts 2:45-47

There are 5 Key Principles we desire to observe as we are 'Doing Life Together':

  1. We are to continue in fellowship with one another
  2. We are to bear one another's burdens
  3. The Body must minister to the Body
  4. We must encourage one another in the Lord
  5. We will laugh together, cry together, play together, share together, and Do Life Together!

At 'The Center', we accomplish these objectives by being intentional in our relationships, and in being together OUTSIDE of the four walls of the 'church'.

  • Connecting in each other's homes
  • Connecting in social settings  (movies, concerts, family outings, etc.)
  • Connecting at monthly fellowship events
  • And much more!
